Invitation to submit expressions of interest for the voluntary audit of EMSO ERIC’s financial statements

EMSO ERIC has officially published an invitation to submit expressions of interest from international auditing firms for the provision of voluntary audit services concerning its financial statements for the 2026, 2027, and 2028 financial years.

As a pan-European distributed research infrastructure comprising 14 Regional Facilities across European seas, EMSO ERIC operates with a strong commitment to transparency, sound governance, and high standards of financial accountability.

Scope and Key Terms

• Assignment: Voluntary certification of EMSO ERIC’s financial statements for the financial years 2026, 2027, and 2028
• Remuneration: The envisaged all-inclusive annual fee shall not exceed EUR 8,000.00 (net of VAT)
• Submission Deadline: 31 December 2026
• Submission Channel: Exclusively by certified electronic mail (PEC) to eric-emso@legal.email.it with the subject line: "Expression of interest – Audit services for EMSO ERIC accounts"

Interested auditing firms must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the official notice, including statutory registration, relevant turnover thresholds over the last three financial years (2023–2025), and proven experience with European research organisations or public bodies.
