CNR contributes multidisciplinary marine research, environmental monitoring and technology development. It supports harmonised observation practices, innovation in marine services, data interoperability and the scientific integration of EMSO across European research infrastructures. CNR has extensive expertise in managing oceanographic infrastructures and long-term marine observatories. Within EMSO-EVOLVE, CNR contributes to observatory operations, data integration and sustained marine observations, including the Western Mediterranean Sea regional facility.
