A boosted coordination and partnership among the various actors from the federal agencies to the academic and research institutions, to private industry, and to other sectors of the ocean observing community could contribute to a stronger collective impact. All the interested people are invited to attend the online Evolving and Sustaining Ocean Best Practices Workshop IV (18-30 September 2020) to discuss about the best practice and recommendations for the Ocean Best Practices System (OBPS) to meet community needs in ocean observing and applications, to help overcome existing barriers to sustained ocean observations including governance and funding.
