EMSO ERIC is seeking candidates for the position of “IT Analyst” to join its dynamic and international team, located at the EMSO headquarters in Rome, Italy. The successful candidate should have a strong background in data science and data analysis and visualization in marine science, with proven experience in advanced Python programming and RESTful APIs and containerization technologies (e.g., docker).
The selected applicant will be responsible for the development, deployment and maintenance of software components and web platforms associated with EMSO ERIC data systems, the integration of software modules such as APIs and software tools into EMSO ERIC data systems and the support the EMSO ERIC Director of IT and Data Services within the European R&D projects funded to EMSO ERIC.
