We are proud to announce that EMSO ERIC has achieved ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System certification.
The ISO 14001 certificate is an internationally recognized standard which sets out the requirements that organizations can follow to make more efficient use of resources with proactive initiatives to adhere to the highest standards of environmental responsibility.
This accomplishment signifies a major milestone in ERIC’s dedication to environmental sustainability and also marks the inception of an even greater endeavour within our Consortium. We are aiming for a more ambitious goal whereby the Environmental Management System will undergo further development and expansion in the years to come. Our ultimate aim is to extend ISO 14001 certification to all EMSO ERIC regional facilities across Europe: EMSO has prepared an extensive Three-Year Development Plan, outlining strategic steps and activities for risk assessment, policy development, training, and continuous improvement to ensure that each EMSO node conforms to the highest environmental management standards.
