As part of the National Doctorate Course in “Biodiversity”, coordinated by the University of Palermo, the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) co-financed two following PhD scholarships:
1. Marine sediments and biodiversity: a wealth of information to reconstruct recent evolution of anthropic impacts on benthic communities

2. Impact of leachates from in-field collected plastics on aquatic organisms and environmental hazard assessment posed by plastic additives
