There is wide recognition within the ocean observing community that enhanced coordination and partnership among federal agencies, academic and research institutions, private industry, and other sectors could contribute to a stronger collective impact.
This event will bring together this diverse groups of stakeholders of ocean observations from multiple sectors. This workshop will explore how adoption of a collective impact organization framework could be undertaken, to help overcome existing barriers to sustained ocean observations including governance and funding, as well as consider processes by which messaging about the value of these observations can be improved.
